The agreement between you and Lamin.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Lamin application or service (“Lamin”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use Lamin.

1. The service

Lamin lets you look up vehicle-registration information by license plate and returns vehicle details and, where available, information about the registered keeper. Lookups are metered with credits.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure.

3. Acceptable use — you must not

• use Lamin or any data it returns to harass, stalk, intimidate, defraud, or harm any person;
• use returned personal data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose without a lawful basis;
• attempt to look up plates in bulk, scrape, resell, or build a competing database;
• circumvent the credit metering, rate limits, or security controls;
• use Lamin in violation of any applicable law, including data-protection law.

You are solely responsible for how you use any information you obtain through Lamin, and for having a lawful basis to do so. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.

4. Credits

Lookups consume credits. A successful lookup spends one credit; a lookup that returns no match is not charged. Free credits (including any daily grant) have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may change.

5. Accuracy & availability

Data is provided “as is” and is drawn from third-party registration records that may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Lamin does not warrant the accuracy or availability of any result and may change or discontinue features at any time.

6. Accounts & deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or via the web deletion page. Deletion removes your account and associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lamin is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for your misuse of data obtained through the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
